Presenter Information:

Crystal Jackson
 
Crystal is Associate Director of Legal Advocacy at the American Diabetes Association (ADA)'s National Office in Alexandria, Virginia. Her primary responsibility is managing the Association’s Safe at School Campaign. Crystal is considered a national authority on the rights of students with diabetes and has spoken at conferences throughout the country on how to effectively advocate on behalf of students with diabetes, training hundreds of parent advocates, attorneys, and health care professionals. Crystal is a parent of a child with diabetes.

Joyce Boudoin
 
Joyce began her work as a volunteer school advocate on behalf of her daughter, who was diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 4. 
 
When the local Florida school district wanted to transfer her daughter to another school because of her diabetes Joyce successful ly advocated to keep her daughter in her home school.   Joyce is now trained as an Advanced School Advocate, and uses her training and experience to help other families by facilitating parent advocacy workshops and providing individual case assistance.

WHAT:  Ride to Cure Motorcycle Ride, Saturday, July 14, Noon


Admission
 $20.00 online early registration (May 1-June 15, choice of shirt style.)
 $20.00 last minute online registration (June 16-July 1, regular t-shirt.)
 $25.00 onsite registration for both days (16-18 yrs $10.00, 12-15 yrs $5.00, under 12 free.) 

Registration includes Thunder Run t-shirt, 2012 rocker, Ride to Cure motorcycle ride and events listed below.
 $10.00 entry fee Friday only or after Ride to Cure on Saturday (does not include t-shirt, rocker or Ride to Cure.)
  Free one-day admission after 6:00 pm Friday and Saturday nights.


Self-Guided Poker Run
Poker Run runs from Saturday, April 7 through Friday, July 13, 8:00 pm. Entry forms available at Capital City Harley-Davidson or at the twelve Poker Run stops. $10 per person, $1,575.00 payout.  Cards drawn Friday, July 13 at 8:00 pm and winners announced on Saturday. Thunder Run admission not required to play.  All 2, 3 and 4 wheel vehicles are welcome!


Raffle
Your opportunity to win a 2012 Street Glide or $10,000 in cash! Raffle tickets available at Capital City Harley-Davidson, at the twelve Poker Run stops or from a 4 Lakes Capital City HOG chapter member. Sale limited to 5,000 tickets, $10 each!

Saturday, July 14
Ride to Cure motorcycle ride, poker run prize drawing, Thunder Run registration, door prizes, silent auction, bike show, tattoo contest, sponsor presentations, live music by Dan Reilly and Mid-Life Crisis, raffle grand prize drawing.
